The Rocky Mountain region is uniquely vulnerable to climate change. Here, a changed climate likely will mean less snow, less water, and more drought, along with other impacts. These changes could profoundly threaten what makes this such a special place.

If just a fraction of the predicted impacts materialize, that would jeopardize the qualities that make the West such a special place to live, work, and play.
